Smith Rock walk

Early in the morning 9am, Matt and I took all the dogs for a walk around the Rim Rock Estates. Dad decided that it was a little too warm for him to walk. (1.2 miles)
Matt and I then took the dogs to Smith Rock. It is absolutely gorgeous out there but very hot and dry. We walked and hiked along the Crooked River (probably about 2 miles). We saw some deer, blue herons and a few small water falls. Matt took the dogs into the river to cool off - Pugs do not to well in the heat and it was definitely a hot one that day. It broke the records for Redmond - 106 degrees.
